Wartagate.com - South Korean girl group Blackpink has officially announced the dates and locations for their upcoming world tour, set to begin in July.

According to a report by Channel News Asia on Thursday (Feb 20), the group—consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—will kick off the tour with a two-night concert at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on July 5.

Other confirmed venues include SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Citi Field in New York, Stade de France in Paris, Wembley Stadium in London, and Tokyo Dome in Japan.

However, Southeast Asian countries are noticeably absent from the tour schedule, including Thailand, the home country of Lisa. Many fans from the region have expressed their disappointment online, with one fan questioning, "Not coming to Bangkok? That’s literally Lisa’s hometown."

In 2023, Blackpink performed in several Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia and Singapore. However, as of now, these locations are not included in the list of tour stops for their upcoming world tour.

A video released by YG Entertainment, the group's agency, hints that additional dates and locations may be announced in the future. Meanwhile, ticket sales for concerts in North America and Europe are set to begin on February 27.

It remains uncertain whether Blackpink will release a new album before the tour begins. In December 2023, all four members renewed their contracts for group activities with YG Entertainment, while signing with different agencies for their individual careers.

Additionally, Lisa and Jennie are scheduled to release their debut solo albums on February 28 and March 7, respectively.
