Wartagate.com - Priscilla Presley recently shared a painful experience about how she discovered Elvis Presley's infidelity—not through a direct confession but through letters from fans.

During the MegaCon Orlando event on February 7, 2025, she revealed the significant challenges she faced during her marriage to the rock and roll icon.

Being the wife of a superstar like Elvis was not easy for Priscilla. She had to face the reality that her husband was constantly surrounded by people, especially women.

“It’s difficult to get used to all the men around, not just Elvis. They were all like that, and I loved them, but it was really a man’s world, and I was the only woman in it,” said Priscilla.

After their marriage in 1967, Elvis’s increasingly hectic schedule made their relationship even more complicated.

One of the most unforgettable experiences for Priscilla was when she visited their home in Palm Springs. At the time, she decided to check the house and collect the incoming mail. Unexpectedly, letters from fans revealed a harsh truth she had never known.

“Many letters contained messages like, ‘Oh Elvis, thank you for the invitation. Charlie Hodge (Elvis’s close friend) invited me over, and I was so happy you greeted me and my girlfriends,’” she said. Some letters were even more shocking. “‘Elvis, I had the best night with you. Thank you so much,’” she added, recalling how painful it was to read those letters.

That moment became a turning point for Priscilla, making her realize that Elvis was living a life she could no longer tolerate. Every time her husband went to Las Vegas or Palm Springs, it was extremely difficult for her to cope. Eventually, their marriage ended in 1973. However, Priscilla emphasized that their separation was not filled with hatred. “He was an amazing man, loving, handsome, but I couldn’t live like that. That wasn’t a good life for me,” she revealed.

Even after their divorce, they maintained a close relationship. Elvis would still visit unexpectedly. “Elvis still often came unannounced. One night, around two in the morning, he showed up while I was with someone,” she recalled.

“I rushed to the door before he rang the bell. We ended up sitting in the kitchen and talking for hours,” she continued.

Priscilla’s appearance at MegaCon Orlando came more than a year after she attended the Emmy Awards in January 2024 with her granddaughter, Riley Keough. At the time, Riley was nominated for Best Actress in the series Daisy Jones & The Six, proving that even though years have passed, the Presley family's story remains in the public eye.
