Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Expecting First Child Amid Super Bowl Preparations and Family Expansion Plans

However, the couple is still awaiting confirmation from the doctor before sharing the news officially. Currently, Swift is undergoing several health tests to ensure her pregnancy progresses smoothly before announcing it to her fans.

There is a main reason why the two decided to delay this announcement. Swift wants to ensure that this happy news does not overshadow Travis Kelce's performance in the Super Bowl.

 This week, Kelce will compete with the Kansas City Chiefs for the championship title, and Swift does not want this important moment to be affected by their pregnancy news.

A source close to Swift revealed to Radar Online that the "Blank Space" singer is currently in "full nesting mode," which shows her readiness to start a family. "Taylor has been quite moody lately, and all her close friends are very excited about the possibility that she might already be pregnant," the source said, as reported by Marca on Sunday (02/09/2025).

Swift is said to be inspired by her best friend, Abigail Anderson, who gave birth last year. Seeing Abigail's experience of becoming a mother has made Swift more confident that she is ready to have a child.

 "After seeing Abigail become a mother, Taylor realized she didn’t want to wait any longer. So, she and Travis have been trying to have a baby for the past few weeks," the source revealed.

Not only Swift, but Travis is also reportedly very enthusiastic about the possibility of becoming a father. With his brother, Jason Kelce, currently expecting his fourth child, Travis's enthusiasm for having a baby with Swift has grown even more.

The same source revealed that Travis has even shared this news with his mother, Donna Kelce. "Travis has spilled the secret to his mom that there might be two new grandchildren this year, talking about expanding the family," the source said.

Meanwhile, Swift is reportedly already preparing to welcome their baby. She has hired interior designer Roxy Bijan to design a nursery and convert the third floor of her home into a special space for the baby. "Taylor wants to ensure they are ready to welcome their baby, no matter where they are," the source added.

Swift's desire to become a mother is not a new thing. In previous interviews, she has expressed her wish to have a big family. "I want to have lots of kids, at least four. I love the idea of dedicating everything to someone else when you become a parent," she said.

According to another source who spoke to Heat Magazine, Swift and Travis have agreed to start trying for a baby as soon as The Eras Tour ends.
