Wartagate.com - South Korean actress Seo Ye Ji has finally broken her silence, expressing frustration over ongoing rumors connecting her to actor Kim Soo Hyun and his cousin, Lee Sa Rang, the founder of GOLDMEDALIST.

In the early hours of March 13, 2025, Seo Ye Ji addressed her fans, known as Yeyes, through a heartfelt message on her official fan cafe.

The Eve (2022) star revealed that she had previously responded to a comment on social media but later deleted it. She admitted feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted due to the persistent rumors.

"Dear Yeyes, I am human too... This is all so exhausting, overwhelming… and I am completely fed up. It’s frustrating and suffocating. I tried to hold back… but I ended up replying to that comment. I deleted it, but still," she wrote.

Seo Ye Ji further pleaded for people to stop associating her with Kim Soo Hyun and his cousin, stating that she has no connection to them anymore.

"I don’t even know why I have to explain this… but I feel so frustrated tonight… Good night, Yeyes," she concluded.

Her statement highlights her desire to distance herself from the controversies surrounding Kim Soo Hyun and GOLDMEDALIST.

Although she is no longer affiliated with the agency, she continues to be dragged into discussions about them.

The rumors involving Seo Ye Ji stemmed from allegations made by the YouTube channel Hoverlab (also known as Garosero Research Institute). The channel claimed that Kim Soo Hyun had a past relationship with actress Kim Sae Ron when he was 27, while she was only 15. Kim Sae Ron’s family alleged that the relationship lasted six years.

However, GOLDMEDALIST swiftly denied these accusations, stating, "This is false information. We are considering legal action against those spreading these baseless rumors," as quoted by The Korea Times.

Despite the agency’s firm denial, speculation continued to spread, leading to Seo Ye Ji being wrongfully linked to the controversy. Some accused her of playing a role in Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron’s alleged breakup, further fueling the public discourse.

With her recent statement, Seo Ye Ji hopes to put an end to the rumors and regain peace away from unnecessary controversy.
