Jennie BLACKPINK and j-hope BTS Debut on Melon Top 100 Chart This Week

Wartagate.com - This week’s Melon Top 100 chart, Tuesday (March 11, 2025), is filled with new songs making their mark. Several top musicians, including Jennie BLACKPINK and j-hope BTS, have successfully placed their latest works on the chart, competing with artists who have been holding strong in the rankings.

Jennie recently released her solo album, Ruby, marking her first studio album. One of the album’s lead tracks, 'like JENNIE', has received an incredible response from listeners in South Korea, securing a spot in the Top 10 of the Melon Top 100.

Jennie’s success adds to the ongoing competition among solo artists dominating the charts. 

One of her strongest rivals is Rosé, who continues to hold a spot with her single Mantra from her APT project. 

Since its release last year, Mantra has remained popular, giving like JENNIE a strong chance of climbing even higher. 

However, the journey to the top won’t be easy, as G-Dragon and other strong musicians are also in the mix.

Not only Jennie and Rosé, but Jisoo is also maintaining her presence on the Melon Top 100 with her song 'earthquake'. Currently, the track sits at #87, holding its ground despite an influx of new releases.

However, among all BLACKPINK members, Lisa is the only one who has yet to appear on the chart this week. That said, given her massive popularity, fans are eagerly anticipating her return with a new music project.

Some songs from RIIZE, which had held strong on the Melon Top 100 for months, have now been pushed out by newer releases. 

However, there’s a good chance they will return to the chart if they release new music or receive a boost from fans.

Meanwhile, j-hope BTS has also made an impact with his latest track Sweet Dreams, a collaboration with Miguel. 

The song debuted at #96 on the Melon Top 100 this week, proving that his musical appeal remains strong both in South Korea and internationally.

With the music industry becoming increasingly competitive, it will be interesting to see how these songs perform in the coming weeks.
