Wartagate.com - K-pop idol group NCT WISH is set to make a highly anticipated comeback with a new mini album this April, marking a major milestone for the group. According to a report by Soompi, SM Entertainment, the agency behind the group, confirmed the release of NCT WISH's second mini album.

“It is true that NCT WISH will make a comeback in April with their second mini album,” said SM Entertainment in a statement.

This comeback will be NCT WISH’s first in Korea in seven months, following the release of their debut mini album Steady in September 2024. Notably, this comeback will also mark the return of NCT WISH as a complete group.

Riku, who had temporarily halted activities due to health issues in October, will rejoin the group for the new album and participate in promotional activities.

"The members are working hard for this album. Please look forward to it and continue supporting them," SM Entertainment added.

NCT WISH is a subunit of NCT that was formed through the audition program NCT UNIVERSE: LASTART. The group consists of six members: two from South Korea, Sion and Jaehee, and four from Japan: Riku, Yushi, Ryo, and Sakuya. The group primarily performs in both Korea and Japan.

The name "Wish" in the subunit represents the hopes and desires of both the members and their fans to form a successful group together. Fans are eagerly anticipating NCT WISH's upcoming album, marking another exciting chapter in the group's journey.
